I worked on a wonderful project with the Canadian Accosication of Second Language Teachers (CASLT) team, when at Cyan Solutions, to develop infographics and explainer videos explaining the challenges FSL teachers face in their careers and why many are leaving the profession. CASLT came up with two analogies to help explain these obstacles, referring to the FSL teacher career path as comparable to an avalanche or a highway.
I first built print-ready infographics to help readers visualize the obstacles and challenges. The client was so pleased with the final product that they gave us a second project to create explainer videos for each analogy.
